Kari has been a science writer and editor for Promega Corporation since 1996. Prior to that she enjoyed working in veterinary microbiology/immunology, and has an M.S. in Bacteriology, U of WI-Madison. Favorite topics include infectious disease, inflammation, aging, nutrition and personality traits. She has written about acupuncture, cardiac arrhythmias and 20th century American pottery. When not writing about them, she likes to talk about these topics. As for the practice of writing, as we say in DNA purification, spin, rinse and repeat.
